Hard reset Samsung Galaxy Note 2
From the Note 2 home screen, select Settings.
Once inside the settings application tap Storage.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Factory Data Reset.
Follow the on-screen instructions and select Erase Everything.
Finally, confirm that this is what you actually want to do by tapping Yes.
Your Galaxy Note 2 will now reset.
If that doesn't work, try this:
Turn the power off. If your Note is frozen or sluggish pull the battery out and reinsert it.
Hold the Volume Down button.
Press and hold the Power button until the device turns on.
You are now presented with a menu that allows for Fastboot, Recovery and Clear Storage.
Select Clear Storage by pressing the Volume Down button.
Press and release the Power button.
Now simply confirm your decision: Volume Up for Yes and Volume Down for No.
Once the wipe is complete, the phone will reboot to its factory state. Everything should then be all good!
